Jen brings energy, creativity, and tech-savvy expertise. With experience running her own photography business, building websites, and teaching digital design, she has a sharp eye for branding and creating cohesive, professional businesses.

GREGORY RICE
Financial Coach
With over 22 years of experience running his own successful pest control business, Greg understands the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship. Through hard work and determination, Greg built his business from the ground up, eventually selling it and gaining invaluable insights into what it truly takes to be your own boss.
Greg’s quiet, calm, and kind nature allows him to connect with others in a way that feels both genuine and reassuring. He’s passionate about helping small business owners navigate the complexities of business ownership, especially when it comes to achieving financial freedom without letting the pressures of business control their lives. Greg’s goal is simple: to help you create a business that works for you—not the other way around.
One of Greg’s favorite memories is from his daughter’s wedding, where he was called upon to give the father-of-the-bride speech. Of course, he couldn’t resist the chance to slip in some financial advice! With a grin, Greg laid out a budget for the newlyweds’ first year of marriage—because why not turn a wedding toast into a lesson on saving, planning, and avoiding debt? He jokingly told them that while love was free, managing their finances would take some serious planning. It was a lighthearted moment, but one that reflected Greg’s practical, no-nonsense approach to life and business—making sure the newlyweds (and his clients) start off on the right financial foot.

JENNIFER RICE
Creative Director
With a passion for both creativity and technology, Jen has been running her own successful photography business since 2009, where she’s not only captured beautiful moments but also built a strong, unique online presence for her brand. Deeply inspired by nature, Jen often draws creative influence from the outdoors—finding clarity, balance, and beauty in God’s creation, which naturally shows up in her photography, design work, and approach to branding. Over the years, she has designed and launched more than five websites—two for the family’s pest control business and several for her photography business—along with helping many others create custom sites of their own.
In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Jen spent many years teaching digital photography, website design, and yearbook at Faith Academy, where she passed on her knowledge and love for creativity and technology to the next generation. Her teaching philosophy is simple: “If you teach someone to fish, you feed them for a lifetime.” This mindset drives her desire to empower others with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Jen’s background in interior design gives her a unique edge when it comes to branding, allowing her to approach business design from a holistic perspective that blends aesthetics, functionality, and authenticity. Whether crafting a brand identity or creating a seamless online experience, her goal is always to help businesses reflect who they truly are and grow with intention.
Known as the spunkier, tech-savvy half of the duo at GJ Rice Ventures, Jen brings energy, innovation, and a grounded, practical approach to everything she does. Paired with Greg’s calm demeanor, she helps create a balanced partnership that supports entrepreneurs in building businesses that are both profitable and sustainable.
